The Blue Galah

There is a place you can stay at the end of the day
When your travels all come to an end
It wont take very much dough to stay there you know
The cadre all seem more like a friend

The twenty-four hour staff are always good for a laugh
Cheering you up when you're feeling Blue (Galah Backpackers Hostel) ...
and with the people you meet you can hit Rundle Street
And maybe go get a flash new tattoo

And if you decide to rock up late they will try to accommodate
Your comfort their primary concern
So if you need somewhere to stay while in Adelaide
Blue Galah is the name you should learn

You'll meet folks from afar some walking some in cars
The city so close it cant be missed
And you know you'll do well because its cheaper than hotels
So go spend all the money you saved getting pissed

So no matter where you are whether near or far
Through your journey all the new places you'll find
And you come back through town and need a place to lay down
Please keep the blue galah in mind

When we arrived in Adelaide it was plainly obvious that there wasn't going to be enough accomodation to go around. We were all struggling until somebody went to do some leg work and stumbled across the Blue Gallah which wasn't on any of the accomodation lists. When we called up they were incredibly acomodating, and sent us an ad to put on the website. We promptly filled the place out to such an extent that they had to close down their balcony section and fill it with extra beds!!

Due to the way that they dealt with us during our stay for the Tests and also later on in the Tour for the ODI's they have now become our official recommendation for Adelaide.

When the rugby barmy army site is up and running we will be recommending the place to the Rugby guys as well.

Enjoy Adelaide, we certainly did.
